Cardiology
Our goal is to effectively treat existing heart conditions and prevent problems that may occur in future.
Angioplasty and Stentin
Angioplasty and stenting are minimally invasive procedures performed to treat narrowed or blocked arteries, which can cause chest pain, shortness of breath, and other heart-related symptoms. During the procedure, a small balloon catheter is inserted into the blocked artery and inflated to widen the narrowed section. A stent (a tiny mesh tube) may also be inserted to hold the artery open and improve blood flow.
Balloon Angioplasty
Angioplasty is a minimally invasive procedure performed to open up narrowed or blocked arteries in the heart. During the procedure, a small balloon catheter is inserted into the blocked artery and inflated to widen the narrowed section. This improves blood flow to the heart and can relieve symptoms such as chest pain or shortness of breath.
Angiography
Angiography is a diagnostic imaging test that uses X-rays and a special dye to visualize the blood vessels in the heart. It is performed to detect blockages or narrowing in the arteries that supply blood to the heart. During the procedure, a catheter is inserted into a blood vessel in the arm or groin and guided to the heart. A contrast dye is then injected through the catheter, and X-ray images are taken to help identify any blockages.
Pacemaker Implantation
A pacemaker is a small device that is implanted under the skin of the chest to help regulate the heartbeat. It is recommended for patients who have an irregular or slow heartbeat, which can cause dizziness, fatigue, or fainting. The pacemaker delivers electrical impulses to the heart to keep it beating at a regular pace.
During the surgery, the surgeon will administer eye drops to numb the eye and use a laser to create a small flap on the cornea. The flap is lifted, and the laser is used to reshape the underlying corneal tissue. Once the cornea is reshaped, the flap is repositioned and left to heal.
Cardiac Catheterization
Cardiac catheterization is a diagnostic procedure that involves inserting a thin tube (catheter) into a blood vessel in the arm, neck, or groin and guiding it to the heart. It can help detect blockages, measure blood flow and pressure, and diagnose various heart conditions. During the procedure, a contrast dye may be injected to help visualize the blood vessels and heart.
Heart Valve Replacement
Heart valve replacement is a surgical procedure performed to replace damaged or diseased heart valves that can cause shortness of breath, fatigue, chest pain, or other symptoms. During the procedure, the damaged valve is removed and replaced with a mechanical or biological valve. The new valve can improve blood flow and reduce symptoms.
